Eat Western Food in Taipei at Texas Roadhouse Taiwan
Even though tourists are usually more interested in eating the street food and local Taiwanese delicacies when they are visiting Taiwan, this does not mean that the Western food in Taiwan taste not as good as those local delicacies. With all that saying, it was time for us to eat Western Food in Taipei. And our choice for the day fell on a steakhouse named Texas Roadhouse Taiwan (德州鮮切牛排) in Xinyi district.
Since Texas Roadhouse Taiwan is a steakhouse so it is just right for us to order a yummy sirloin steak. Even though the sirloin is less tender than the New York strip, Texas Roadhouse Taiwan claims that the USDA Choice Sirloin is more flavorful. Hmm, well, it does have a nice flavor and not really difficult to chew. That is all that matters to me.
My munching companion preferred to try out the item from the Burgers & Sandwiches section instead. The All-American Cheeseburger is...huge! A fresh ground chunk of beef topped with American cheese. The burger is served with fries. The online menu states the calorie of this meal which comes at a whopping 730 cal. Well, it is kinda expected, I guess? #eatfirst #exerciselater
Other than the steaks and the burgers, Texas Roadhouse Taiwan offers a great range of margaritas. Oh yum! The size of the frozen margarita is also, well, huge! Me, likey! The strawberry frozen margarita taste awesome too. If you are not really a drinker, it may be wiser to share the frozen margarita. XD
