Bali Travel: A Serene Morning at Bali Garden Beach Resort, Kuta

Nothing beats an awesome morning near the ocean. And since we were staying at a nice resort in Kuta, Bali Garden Beach Resort, we decided to take a walk before enjoying our breakfast. The morning was pretty quiet. As you can see in the picture, there is only one man relaxing under the umbrella beach at the moment.

On the other side of the beach resort, there is a lotus pond with a Balinese statue in the middle of the pond.

We were suddenly struck by a pang of hunger so we moved forward to the breakfast area. You can choose to sit al fresco under the greens.

Or inside, which somehow..looks like it is surrounded by greens too. We settled down indoor because we were kinda scared by insects. Hahaha.

There's no rule you can't have a sorbet in the morning, right? =)

Indonesia Travel: Sunset at Bali Garden Beach Resort, Kuta

Since I am in the deep wanderlust mood, let's start with a picture of the beautiful sunset in Kuta beach. Okay, this makes me wanna go back there again. #wrongmove

Well if you are looking for a resort which has access to the beautiful beach. Which in turn, give you access to the fantastic sunset view, you may want to consider staying at Bali Garden Beach Resort at Kuta. It is located right next to Discovery Shopping Mall.

At night time, you can opt to have dinner at resort restaurant, Boardwalk Restaurant. Based on the resort website, it offers fine authentic Mediterranean Cuisine, comfort food and a selection of Indonesian and seafood favorites located in a stunning beach front setting right on Kuta beach.

And there is an entertainment too so you will not feel bored while waiting for your food. It's the Balinese traditional dance.

I ordered chicken satay drenched in peanut sauce served with white rice. Let's not forget the frozen strawberry margarita too.

Bali Eats: Hotel Breakfast at Grand Aston Bali Beach Resort, Tanjong Benoa

Do you look forward to hotel breakfast when you are staying in one? I can be categorised as those people who do that. Not everyday you can eat breakfast in buffet style right? No wonder I gained weight after my Bali trip.

5. Carving show

The chef is basically hired to show his carving skill during breakfast time everyday. Well, he's good!

While it may not be necessary to eat breakfast in hotel (Bali is one awesome culinary island), it is quite an enjoyable experience to have one in Bali's hotel. So you can consider to book a room with breakfast included. =) #ijustlovetoeat

Bali Hotel Review: Grand Aston Bali Resort Tanjong Benoa

During my last visit to Bali with my family, we stayed in Tanjong Benoa area since we never stay at this part before. We chose to stay in Aston because my mum managed to find a great deal from her travel agent friend in Bali.

This is the twin bedroom that we booked. Bedroom does look cozy.

The bathroom comes with shower glass and a bath tub in triangle shape.
