Singapore Cafe: Drink Me at Max Brenner, Vivo City

Vivo City is a big mall with a lot of cafes and restaurants inside. But even though the mall has a lot of things to offer, it seems that a long queue at peak dining time is inevitable sometimes. As my friends and I were kinda not in the mood to queue, we decided to have some "happiness" at Max Brenner for our dinner.

Like what Alice did in Wonderland, I've decided to follow the instruction and drink the super yummy iced chocolate. It does not make me a giant as soon as I took a sip but I suppose the chocolate does not make my waist slimmer as well. #ironyoflife

Our happiness completed with a plate of vanilla ice cream crepe drenched in chocolate sauce. Glorious dessert!

I love the taste of the chocolate sold by Max Brenner and I suppose that's their speciality. So far, Max Brenner only has one outlet in Singapore, which is in Vivo City.

If you are felling a bit more adventurous, you can also make your way to the neighbouring Waterfront Station at Resorts World at Sentosa to try the Korean food at Insadong Korea Town.

I'm moving soon so I must clear the small fridge in my room. And the fastest thing to clear the fridge is by...consuming whatever things inside. Especially when it's chocolate. A hidden chocolate bar! Yum!

I always feel kinda annoyed when I have to pack and move my things to new place. Especially, when it's rented place which means I have to incur another agent fee. Blah. Blah.

Still dreaming of having my own place here.

Singapore Cafe: Truffs, Telok Ayer

Having finished your lunch but it is still too early to go back to your desk in the office? If you happen to eat your lunch at Telok Ayer/ Amoy area, there are some cafes that you can go to chill for a while before coming back earning money. And Truffs is one of them.

Truffs is located at the 2nd level of the shophouses at 179 Telok Ayer Street. Below Truffs is the fruit seller, Sun & Moon. You can go up to Truffs via the staircases near Sun & Moon's entrance. Truffs is not big but the space is just right to get a moment of peace. It will be kinda difficult for a big group to come here though.

Truffs' specialities is chocolate. Their hot chocolate, iced chocolate and chocolate cakes taste yummy. We ordered hot chocolates this round as the weather was kinda cool that day.

Pop Up Store Ferrero Rocher Singapore Orchard Road

Pasticceria Ferrero is a pop up store set up by Ferrero Rocher in front of ION Orchard. The store will be there only for Christmas period (I think). Other than the normal kind of Ferrero Rocher, you can find an abnormal size of Ferrero Rocher here. XD
