Life is so tough when those people who suppose to help you are being useless and create more things for you to do. It's like they are not doing what they are supposed to do if you get what I mean. Oh well, there are always challenges in life no matter what so we just have to flow (and stay afloat) in this river of life. Anyway, my friend LV (not Louis Vuitton unfortunately) has just came back from her Japan trip. Even though I am so jealous of her trip I have decided to let it go because she came back with so many Japanese snacks and I'm such a sucker for Japanese snacks.

The funny thing is LV has not moved on from her Japanese trip and asked me if I am ok with eating ramen. So that's how we came about to Marutama Ramen at the Central.

I need to keep calm and eat ice cream on certain days, really. Especially when it is a day full of chasing and got chased by irritating people instead of handsome men. Sad. While my bae and I were wandering around Clarke Quay thinking of a way out from this circle of life without killing ourselves (or other people since we don't want to spend the remaining of our life in jail, obviously), we were passing by Azabu Sabo, ice cream chains which are specializing in Hokkaido ice-cream. Bae got tempted in a jiffy and before we knew it, we came closer to the ice cream stall.

The pricing of the ice cream depends on whether you want to have the ice cream by cone or cup. Plus by how many type of ice cream you want to have in the cone/ cup. If you prefer to have only one taste, I think you should give matcha (green tea) a try because I think Japanese matcha ice cream has the best flavour.

We stumbled upon Dulcet & Studio when we were looking for a place to hang out after having our omurice lunch at Pecori. Little did we know that there is a nice cozy cafe at the corner of Liang Court in Clarke Quay. Dulcet & Studio serves cakes, cookies, mains and coffees. The packaging of the cookies looks so nice. 

There are those days when you just simply wandered around a certain area and before you know it, you saw the board outside a certain place saying Happy Hour! Haha well, this will likely happen if that certain area happens to be Clarke Quay. And the choice to enjoy the happy hour drinks tonight went to Paulaner. 

Tuesday night and I am feeling Italian again. My first dining experience at Ricciotti the Riverwalk was quite sweet, so I brought my colleague to Ricciotti again to try some of the other dishes on its menu. We were so starving up to the point we ordered two types of Antipasti (re: appetiser). The first one is the cant-get-it-wrong Fried Calamari. There's nothing special about fried calamari because after all, everything which is fried is mostly yummy. #friedstuffeater



While the other...the other was unexpectedly good but..I forgot its name. OMG. Maybe I really worked too hard. Haha. Basically it's fried dough stuffed with mozzarella cheese. The fried sticks are served with mayo sauce. Fried dough + mozzarella filling = ultimate foodgasm.  XD

After our spending an enjoyable time watching sunset at Clarke Quay, we are ready to fill in our growling tummy. At this rate, I don't think we will be anywhere near those K-pop singers' body. We are exercising in order to be able to eat more food. XD

Everyday we are too busy spending our time sitting in the office, we forget to enjoy all the little things around us. Including an evening walk, when the sun is still up. So often, when we come out from our office building, the sun has disappear from the sky. Kinda depressing sometimes but I suppose, it's kinda unavoidable as long as we are living in Singapore (or any other Asian big cities). We can probably do that in...Finland? XD

We don't really hang out at Liang Court that often because we are simply too lazy to move our ass from the Central, which is located nearer to the Clarke Quay MRT Station. Especially when there is a yummy tiramisu cafe located at the basement level of the Central. #digress

Okay, ahem, coming back to track. This post is not about tiramisu. It's about a Japanese Egg dish called Omurice! We read from the review online that Pecori Japanese Egg Restaurant sells a humble but yummy omurice. So we just had to come. Oh hey, piggy plate looks so cute.  #easilydistracted

We are feeling kinda Italiano tonight and hence, since we are simple-minded person, we just go into the first Italian restaurant we see during our walk along the riverside at Clarke Quay, Ricciotti.
