Singapore Eats: Weekday Lunch Deal at Malones, Somerset 313
On a very rare occasion, my friend and I were adventurous enough to venture into Orchard Road for a weekday lunch. To our surprise, there are a lot of restaurants offering lunch deal at Orchard area for weekday lunch, including Malones.
The lunch deal allows customer to order lunch set which consists of one drink, one soup-of-the-day and one main course at cheaper price compared to the normal timing. The soup of the day was mushroom soup on that day.
I ordered Country Style Fried Chicken. It was served with a dollop of mash potato and few pieces of lettuce with a lot of thousand island dressing on them. The fried chicken is crunchy but a tad oily.
My lunch buddy ordered Pork Chop with Black Pepper Sauce. It was served with fries and the same type of salad as mine. I think hers is nicer so you can try the pork chop instead of the chicken when you visit Malones for its lunch set.
The set lunch is served from 12 - 3pm from Monday to Friday. For the complete lunch menu, you can see the picture below which is taken from Malones' website.
