But if you step inside the Christmas tree, well, it's Blue Christmas in here. I'll have a Blue Christmas without you...oh well, at least the crystal is pretty. So many people trying to take picture of themselves with the crystal on the top but seriously that will take some serious photography skill to make it work. LOL. On second thought, it probably can be done if the person who's taking the photo is willing to lie down on the floor while taking the picture... #justanidea

Right across ION Orchard, the Little Prince has its reign upon the Wheelock Place. I never read the story of the Little Prince before but he looks so cute. I should make some time to read this literature from France (which somehow is popular in South Korea, I don't know why).

When you step into Wheelock Place, you should make time to look up and enjoy the magical toy world. It does look like some kind of wonderland for kids. 

Did I tell you the lighting decoration in front of ION Orchard have more than one color? Yes, the lighting will change color at certain time interval. Isn't this lovely? 

By the way, it is now 22 days to Christmas (based on Singapore time). Have you bought all the gifts yet? How many gift exchange sessions do you have? I am not really into gift exchange but there's no escaping this kind of activity every Christmas. XD

Despite a lot of sayings about empty seats means bad business means yucky food, we decided to just go for it as we were too tired and hungry to queue for a table. Bangkok Jam offers variety of Thai food. Its food menu is kinda similar to Thai Express. 

I needed carbo that night so I tried Bangkok Jam's tom yum seafood fried rice. I like it because Bangkok Jam is not stingy on the amount of seafood it puts in the fried rice. 

My friend tried the green curry chicken. It is a tad oily but taste-wise, it's pretty good. 

As usual, a long chit chat between girls must be accompanied by a dessert to share amongst us. It's something that looks and tastes like baked pineapple tarts served together with a scoop of coconut ice cream. The stick is cinnamon and it's for decoration only I guess (initially I thought it was a chocolate roll). XD

Bangkok Jam has a number of stores in Singapore. Other than Wheelock Place,  you can find Bangkok Jam at Plaza Singapura, Bugis Junction, and Great World City.

And my order of iced mocha. See the amount of chocolate they put inside. I don't mind it one bit because I am a sissy-coffee-drinker. Hahaha. 

The drink really becomes a fuel for though "do I need to hit the gym later to shed the chocolate that I drink?" XD

Spinelli has a lot of branches in Singapore but the one that we went is located at Wheelock Place, Orchard. Do pop by on a weekday if you want to enjoy a moment of peace. =P
