10D9N Spring Japan Trip: The Many Worlds of Tokyo Disneysea, Japan

The easiest way to have a roundabout tour in Tokyo Disneysea is by taking the voyage boat from Cape Cod fishing village at American Waterfront port-of-call (one of the many themed land in Tokyo Disneysea). As the boat ride can accommodate a lot of people at one go, chances are you don't have to wait for so long to board one.

The voyage starts from American Waterfront to the the next port-of-call, Port Discovery, where the water ride, Aquatopia is located.

The next stop is the Lost River Delta, where the calling for adventure can be heard loud and clear (the rides are seriously pumping your hearts).

And here comes the beautiful Mermaid Lagoon. Under the sea...under the sea...

From the musical and magical world where Ariel lives, we are suddenly welcomed by the submarine belonging to Captain Nemo.

Suddenly, we are transported into the land of Arabian night. I hope I can catch a magic carpet ride.

Last but not least, we passed by the bustling New York city, which is also the entrance/ exit of Tokyo Disneysea. The famous Miracosta Hotel is also located in this area.

It was such a beautiful voyage. I could say that I really enjoyed the ride so much as all I need to do is sitting inside the boat. =P

10D9N Spring Japan Trip: A Magic Carpet Ride at Tokyo Disneysea's Arabian Coast

We are finally at one of my favourite section in Tokyo Disneysea, the Arabian Coast. It is a themed land inspired after a popular Disney animated film, Aladdin, which was my first Disney film that I watched in the movie. Being a fan of the movie, one of the best scene from the movie is when the song "A Whole New World" is played when Aladdin and Princess Jasmine enjoy the magic carpet ride together. So yeah, we decided to join the crowd to ride the magic carpet ride. LOL.

The queue is quite long but it moves pretty fast because the ride can accommodate quite a lot of people I guess. So this means it's finally time for me to eat my lunch, an onigiri that I bought from the convenience store. Nom Nom Nom.

I was still in the queue after I finished my onigiri, so I started to do my favourite activity, people watching. The Mickey Mouse hat which is worn by the boy in front of me is so cute. Mickey's body is hanging at the back of the hat. Super cute. I, myself, don't mind wearing it but I think they only have these hats in kids size. #idontwanttogrowup

Nearer to the ride, we could see some familiar characters like Rajah, who is the pet tiger of Jasmine. A tiger as a pet. Wow. PETA won't stand down listening to this situation in the modern days. Hahaha.

Whee...it does look pretty fun even from below. As you can see, the ride is loved by adults too especially those schoolboys/ schoolgirls. One carpet can accommodate 4 people, which makes the queue moves quite fast. Thank goodness.

The ride is pretty mild, you can even take picture when you are up here with the port as the background. Konichiwa!

After you have landed, I suggest you to walk toward further right (if you come from the Indiana Jones' area) because there is a perfect photo spot which makes you feel like you are part of the Aladdin's movie set. Where's my genie?

10D9N Spring Japan Trip: Sindbad’s Storybook Voyage, Tokyo Disneysea

The most beautiful thing about Tokyo Disneysea is the transition between one segment of the theme park to the other. The transition in between Lost River Delta (the area where Indiana Jones ride is located) and the Arabian world is so smooth, one can think that they have taken a voyage ride from one island to another island.

After our ship docked, we have officially landed at the Arabian land, where the enchanted story of Aladdin was inspired from. Aladdin was my first Disney movie in the cinema and I still think that it is one of the best classic Disney movies ever made until this day.

The ride that we are gonna take next is pretty random though. For a start, I don't think this ride is related to any Disney movie or character at all.

10D9N Spring Japan Trip: Sindbad’s Storybook Voyage, Tokyo Disneysea

The ride is named Sindbad's Storybook Voyage. You don't really need a fast pass to ride this because the queue moves along pretty fast. I guess, this ride is not really one of the top most popular rides in Tokyo Disneyland, at least for the Japanese.

Sindbad's Storybook Voyage is apparently a boat ride which is pretty similar to Hong Kong Disneyland's It's A Small World ride. However, for the storyline, it has adopted the story of Sindbad and his adventure to beat the evil guy.

The detail of the moving dolls along the ride is just amazing. They managed to make the genie looks pretty threatening without being too scary for the kids.

Oh right, so here is Sindbad. The boat ride is pretty long but comfortable. This is the perfect ride to take if you'd like to take a break from all those queuing and walking in Tokyo Disneysea. Since the ride is indoor, you can also hide from the heat or the cold weather outside.
