Taiwan Travel: The Wonder of Formosa Boulevard Station, Kaohsiung
If you ask me where is the most beautiful train station that I have seen so far during my travel, the answer is gotta be Formosa Boulevard Station, which is located in Kaohsiung.
The station is known for its "Dome of Light", the largest glass work in the world.
The design was done by Italian artist, Narcissus Quagliata.
The work is consisted of 4,500 glass panels. I have no idea how they manage to arrange them in such a beautiful way.
Formosa Boulevard Station is located pretty central in Kaohsiung as it is a transfer station between the Red and Orange Line. You will definitely go via this station if you want to visit one of the famous local night markets, Liuhe Night Market.
