Deep inside the Cloud Forest dome, there is an open area which exhibit different kind of stalactites and stalagmites.

I always imagine a castle made from stalagmites and there lives a hidden kingdom who rules over the seas. I guess I watched too many Game of Thrones. XD

There is a room behind the open area which shows how many days remaining before Christmas. Gosh, I visited Gardens by the Bay way back in 2012. Time flies!

At certain timing, the screen will play a documentary showing how nature works in general.

The documentary video also shows how Gardens by the Bay is designed. Especially its irrigation system.

It is quite amazing feat for the designer and architect to be able to come up with such design. I recommend you to watch the documentary when you visit Cloud Forest.

Different from the neighbouring Flower Dome, stepping into Cloud Forest gives you the sensation that you are going through a dungeon high above the clouds covered by greens.

At certain point of the path, there is a pond decorated with all kind of green plants. Beautiful scene.

The tropical forest kind of plants can be found in Cloud Forest.

Flowers do exist in Cloud Forest too. A beautiful white and purple flower.

Singapore Travel: Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay

One of the iconic two conservatories in Gardens by the Bay, Flower Dome offers a wide variety of flowers and greens. And it offers a great place to escape under the hot tropical weather during the day (yes, it is fully equipped with air-con).

Welcome to Flower Dome! The area at the centre is usually decorated according to the season. When I visited Flower Dome, it was around mid to end October so the flowers have halloween theme.

I love the yellow flowers.

Even though the conservatory is called Flower Dome, there are other plants that you can see inside here. Like this white leaves which look like it comes from the winter world (it's actually a desert plant from Australia).

Or a unique type of cactus.

The most interesting plant inside the Flower Dome are these baobab trees. The trees have water belly. But they sure don't need to go on a diet. #envy?
