The last segment of Tokyo One Piece Tower is actually filled with clip art from the anime. I seriously don't mind having this painting hanged on my bedroom wall seriously.

You can even see a clip from the anime which explains the display. Anyone knows which arc this floating island is featured?

It has been a fun experience for me since I know the story pretty well (at least, on the beginning part). I should probably continue reading the manga if I manage to trace back the last chapter which I read.

10D9N Spring Japan Trip: Memory of Tokyo One Piece Tower

There are actually a lot of rooms inside Tokyo One Piece Tower which provides visitors a lot of adventures to explore. Most of the rooms come with character display though. The problem with long manga like One Piece is...I can't trace back to the latest chapter that I read when I stopped for too long. Hence, there are some characters which I really don't know appearing from which pirate crew.

But, at least, I know that this fellow here is the grandfather of Luffy, Monkey D. Garp. The ironic thing is he is also serving in the Marines, the organisation who maintains order and peace in the sea. He has a pretty good relationship with Luffy and Ace though, despite both kids being in the pirates.

And since we have seen Garp's picture, this can only mean one thing, you have arrived at Marine Headquarter. Anyone's interested to try sitting on the Marine Admirals' seats of power?

A lot of colorful strips taken out from the anime, I suppose. From what they look like, it seems that they are taken from the earlier part of the anime.

The main display at Tokyo One Piece Tower is gotta be the feast celebrating yet another success of the Straw Hat Pirates beating up the bad guys. It is best to come here when there were not many other people (pick non-school holidays or non-festive season) so that you can take as many pictures as you want with Luffy and his crew mates.

The food looks damn real, really. My bias, Nami, looks so hot and sexy too. <3

10D9N Spring Japan Trip: One Piece Mugiwara Store, Tokyo Tower

Once you have enough fun at Tokyo One Piece Tower, don't go home without visiting the cafe and the store at level 1 of Tokyo Tower. Can't you see the love of your chef, Sanji? =P

One Piece Mugiwara Store is a big store selling all kind of One Piece merchandises. I can say that this is the biggest One Piece store I have ever seen so far.

The store is packed with visitors that day but considering Japanese level of crowd, this may be considered "mild". Hahaha.

One Piece themed snack, oh my gawd. I dunno if the snack taste good but they sure looks good and I don't think I can bear ripping the packaging away. Japanese snacks really make me think twice before opening the packaging. #toogoodtoopen

Any straw hat lover can buy one of the hats here. One Piece Mugiwara Store also has Chopper's pink and blue hats too.

If you want to go all out in cosplaying, you can find the full set of One Piece's characters costumes here at One Piece Mugiwara Store. They don't come cheap but the material does look pretty good.

One Piece Mugiwara Store sells limited edition items which you cannot find anywhere else in Japan. Do check out its website from time to time to see what kind of limited edition merchandises the store is selling at the moment.

10D9N Spring Japan Trip: Tokyo Tower's Souvenir Store

If you are looking for souvenirs from Tokyo Tower, you should visit level 5 of the tower. You can find a lot of souvenirs from the inedible to the edible ones. For a start there is a lamp in the shape of Tokyo Tower. Somehow, this has a slight resemblance to the traffic cone in certain ways.

You can also see the smaller replica of Tokyo Tower, which I don't think is for sale, actually.

If you are a collector of nanoblock, this may be a number 1 thing to buy in your list, a huge Tokyo Tower in nanoblock version. Cool, right? The price is not that friendly though. U_U.

If you prefer something edible, how about some open hearts from Tokyo? I suppose they are cookies. Colorful cookies in the shape of heart to be exact.

Everybody's favourite, Tokyo Banana. If your flight back home is still a long way from your visit to Tokyo Tower, it's better for you to buy them in the airport though. Tokyo Banana has a quite short shelf life.

There is a strawberry cake from Ginza which looks pretty similar to Tokyo Banana. The only difference it seems to have from Tokyo Banana is the strawberry stamp on the sponge cake and the filling. Tokyo Banana usually has either custard or chocolate cream as the filling while the Strawberry Cake from Ginza has..well, strawberry cream, which supposedly made from real strawberry.

10D9N Spring Japan Trip: Adventure Starts at Tokyo One Piece Tower

I had been to theme parks which adopted One Piece's theme in Taiwan before but the first One Piece theme park in Japan was actually established not so long time ago. Tokyo One Piece Tower just opened its way last year at the same time One Piece celebrated its 15th year anniversary. Sweet, right?

The theme park occupies level 3 to level 5 of Tokyo Tower. We bought our ticket at level 1 but you can also buy your ticket at level 3, right at the entrance of Tokyo One Piece Tower.

There is a combined ticket which you can buy at the price of 3,900 Japanese Yen (yes, it is not cheap). The combined ticket basically allows you an access to Tokyo One Piece Tower and the observation deck of Tokyo Tower.

Don't forget to take your guide map. I did not really usually use my guide map though since I collected them as souvenir. Hahaha.

When you enter the theme park, you will be immediately welcomed with a familiar scene from the manga. This is one of my favourite moments from One Piece saga.

Let's board the Thousand Sunny together and join the Straw Hat Pirates crew to become the Pirate King, shall we?

10D9N Spring Japan Trip: Patisserie Marion Crepes, Tokyo Tower

We were getting hungry after viewing Tokyo from the Tokyo Tower observation deck. However, the One Piece themed restaurant at level 1 has a super long queue even when the lunch time has passed. Oh my gawd, I guess the world is not joking when a lot of news mention about the Japanese perseverance in queueing. Starving, we walked outside Tokyo Tower to see what we could find. The nearest food that we could find is Patisserie Marion Crepes which has a stall right a few metres after the entrance/exit of Tokyo Tower.

Patisserie Marion Crepes was originated in Harajuku in the year 1976. The business has been thriving and it now has a number of stalls all around Japan (and even in Seoul, I heard) including at Tokyo Tower. Patisserie Marion Crepes sells two kind of crepes: sweet and savoury.

If you want to know what kind of crepes that Patisserie Marion Crepes has, you just need to make your way to the display and see for yourself.

The menu is pretty extensive and we spent quite a while to decide what to order. Everything on the display looks pretty tasty to me, especially when my stomach is grumbling.

My travelling buddy decided for a savoury crepe, which I can tell what are the toppings inside from the outside appearance of the crepe.

Oh, turned out she ordered Tuna Crepes. Looks pretty plain to me. Hahaha. Taste wise, it's quite good though.

I, on the other hand, decided to go for the happening sweet crepes. There are so many toppings inside my crepe and yes, I am surprised I did not get an overdose of sweetness from a cheesecake, a cracker, ice cream, strawberry (half piece only), and a lot of whipped cream. It taste quite filling (probably due to the cheesecake).

Now, I have enough energy to walk to the nearest restaurant to have my proper lunch in Tokyo. LOL.
