Jakarta Eats: Sushi Tei, Central Park Mall
Chinese New Year holiday means long weekend and it means a peace treaty between tummy and calories. And there is no complete eating trip to Jakarta without popping by Sushi Tei, my favourite Japanese restaurant chain in Jakarta. =)
Let's start with a healthy bowl of Chef's Salad. Okay, not very sure on the healthy part but this best consumed drenched in sauce. XD
Next is a Tendon. While I like anything fried, the rice is just too much. Rice best shared amongst two persons if you are not a big carbo-eater.
No visit to Sushi Tei is completed without trying out its sushi. I craved for unagi so I opted for a simple unagi sushi. Yum!
Great news if your birthday happens to just passed or just around the corner. The waiter/waitress will usually ask if there's any of the customer having a birthday or just had a birthday (a week before or after the actual birthday). Upon production of ID card, they will serve you a birthday sushi roll. Yeah! Happy Birthday Me! (my real birthday is a few days in the future though).
