7D Korea Golden Rama Tour: Camellia Hill, Jeju Island

Anyeong! After filling tummy with yummy breakfast from Days Hotel Jeju Seogwipo Ocean, our tour group is finally ready to embark on a busy day on Jeju Island. Day 2 started with a morning walk at Camellia Hill, which seems to be like a big garden like the Garden of Morning Calm at Gyeonggido area which I visited 5 years back.

7D Korea Golden Rama Tour: Camellia Hill, Jeju Island

Camellia Hill is home for 6,000 camellia trees of 500 different species. Oh my, that is a huge number of species. You can see different color of camellia flowers from the chart below.

The area of Camellia Hill is huge and we only have 45 minutes to hang out at this place. As usual, Bro has gone off on his own while Mom is stuck with me who obviously not using any map whatsoever in checking out the place. Haha yeah, I am more of the wing-it person when I am wandering at new place. Unless I am stuck in a rut and by then, I shall use a map. Hahaha.

Since it's summertime, the most prominent color that you can see from the plantation at Camellia Hill is of course, green. Some flowers are still blooming though so here and there, you will see a pop of colors other than green.

It is quite a nice morning walk inside Camellia Hill because I bet you don't really have the time to go for morning walk especially if you are working a desk job to earn a living. Camellia Hill seems to be a quite nice place to take wedding or pre-wedding pictures too. I mean, look at this bench with two statues of dogs, isn't it cute?

Oh anyeong the blue flowers, I remembered I saw you before at the Garden of Morning Calm. It's great that we are able to meet again now few years later, on a different island. This flower is pretty unique because even though they are growing from one stem of branch, they have different petal sizes.

If you are a fan of hydrangeas, there are a number of them inside Camellia Hill. You can gaze at these beautiful flowers as long as you want to.

Somewhere in the middle section of the park, there are a lot of bunny chairs where you can sit and take picture with. Come come bunnies, let's take picture together.

We realised that we were kinda behind the schedule as there is only 20 minutes left before we had to assemble at the parking lot. Jenny has warned us that whoever come back late, he/ she must sing a song in front of everyone. Uhh the only Korean line that I remember from a song is only "Uri Saranghaji marayo" from Big Bang's Let's Not Fall in Love. And I'm so not gonna sing that in front of everyone else, so let's pick up the pace.

Oh wait, a greenhouse. Could not resist to take a peek inside the greenhouse because this is where you can find pretty flowers which needs cool condition to grow up.

If you are running out of time, you have to make a fast walk to the deepest area of Camellia Hill because this is where a row of Hydrangeas is planted next to each other like a maze. Oh my gawd, aren't they a beauty? A perfect photo spot I have to say.
