Having said that, so where are the best sunset watching spots in Bali? From my last trips to Bali, I have summarized four best sunset watching spots in Bali. Interested to know? Jump! 

1. Kuta Beach 

Kuta Beach is always popular with both the local and international tourists. It is located at the city centre area and there beach is opened for public. You don't have to stay the night at some private hotels to enjoy the lovely sunset view of Kuta Beach. The drawback, of course, the crowd level in Kuta Beach is kinda unbearable during high season. 

2. Dreamland Beach

We actually did not really know about Dreamland beach until our driver cum guide offered us a ride there. Back then, not many people know about Dreamland beach as the area is not very well-commercialised yet. We spotted mainly the local tourists when we visited Dreamland beach. This is perfect for photography because there are less people who can photo-bomb your picture.

3. Seminyak 

If you want to enjoy sunset while sipping your mojito or margarita, you should make your way to Seminyak. There are a lot of restaurants which are located at the side of the sea like Ku De Ta and Potato Head. The sunset view of Seminyak may come at a higher cost because you have to order the food (and drinks) too but hey, there is no harm to enjoy life once in a while, right? You deserve it! 

4. Lovina Beach

Located on the northern side of Bali, I can say that Lovina Beach is the furthest among the other sunset watching spots in Bali. However, the sunset watching experience is even greater here because you can go further toward the middle of the sea by hiring the fisherman's boat. The whole experience is priceless, I must say.

The memory of my last trip to Bali brought me back to the place where my high school friends and I had our reunion, Potato Head Beach Club at Seminyak. We knew that the place is gonna be so crowded so we tried to reach the place a bit earlier. 

The atmosphere at Potato Head Beach Club is perfect for a reunion with friends. Added by the influence of cocktail on the beach, we talked about so many things.

The pork ribs served at Naughty Nuri's Warung is slightly on the smaller side but both ribs are seasoned so well, you can't help to lick the ribs bones. No kidding.

2. Crispy Fried Duck

Other than pork ribs, Bali is also famous for the crispy fried duck. Especially if you are travelling to the mountain area of Ubud. You can enjoy a delicious lunch of crispy fried duck while enjoying the view of the rice field at Bebek Tepi Sawah or Bebek Bengil. Both are located in Ubud area.

3. Cakes and patisseries

If you are a dessert person, you can also enjoy a delicious dessert in Bali. From a slice of Black Russian Pie served at Bebek Bengil in Ubud to...

...a cup of Tiramisu at Ku De Ta in Seminyak.

4. Local Balinese Rice

If you are the "Do like a local, eat like a local" kind of traveller, you must try the local Balinese rice. However, do remember to ask for the chili to be put separately at the side because the chili may be too spicy for some people (including me). I will cry if I accidentally eat too much chili inside this Balinese rice. XD

5. Tortilla

Last but not least, you can also feel a bit Mexican in Bali. Because the neighbourhood restaurant, Mojo's Flying Burritos sells all kind of Mexican food from tortilla, burritos to quesadillas. I really enjoyed the tortilla which I ate here few years back.

Please forgive my lousy photography skill (not that I'm improving a lot now). I believe the meat hidden behind the crunchy looking toast is grilled fish. XD

Mushroom and edamame risotto. I love risotto but my mum does not seem to appreciate this dish very much because it's pretty much creamy. 

Since Kudeta is a bar and all, of course it's a must to try their cocktails. Mojito - Red Cocktail - Pina Colada. I forgot the name of the red cocktail. #fail

And of course, there's always room for dessert. Hello there, my dear tiramisu. 

I still remember that the total bill comes to more than Rp 1 million. Hmm, which now that I think of it, it's equivalent to SGD105, which is not bad considering there are three people eating the food. Oh gosh, I guess Rupiah is really that weak, huh? =P
