Taiwan Instagrammable Food: Fomo Coffee, Taipei
Are you a coffee fan? I am actually kinda confused on whether I qualify to refer myself as one. The thing is I don’t really drink black coffee/ espresso so my coffee has to be mixed with milk and chocolate (oh hey, mocha) or milk and syrup (hazelnut latte, toffee latte, anything latte but not plain latte). Oh well, mocha and flavored latte are coffee too, right? So I suppose I’m a coffee fan too.
That explains why I am so excited to see that instagrammable coffee does exist and it came out in the form of Charcoal Latte. What? Isn’t charcoal black? Yesh isn’t that cool? Charcoal latte is the latest creation of a café in Taipei, FOMO Coffee. Do you know the % logo of Arabica Coffee? FOMO Coffee comes up with similar sign but theirs is &.
If you are not up for black latte, you can choose other drinks like matcha chocolate (oh yumz!) and normal latte too. It seems that FOMO Coffee also have some food like pound cakes and cinnamon roll. Mmmm, the pound cakes look so good. I will definitely try the matcha ones and pair it up with charcoal latte. I hope this charcoal latte make it to the permanent menu. Otherwise, oh well, I can just wish that they will come up with something even more exotic when I am finally able to visit Taipei.
The nearest MRT station to FOMO Coffee is Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station. But it seems that you have to walk a bit in order to reach the café. First you have to walk along Fuxing South Road section 1 (shown below Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT in my map) and then make a turn to the left (from MRT direction) at the junction where Viva Fit is located and then go straight until you see the café. Most likely people will carry their cup when you are nearby (since it looks so cool and instagrammable), so I hope all of us can find the café easily.
