Wandering Fel

Having been to Bali a number of times, what I love the most about Bali is its sunsets. There is this melancholic feeling about sunset that I always feel whenever I look at it. I don't know how to explain but since it seems like the sun is waving goodbye for now for a better tomorrow. 

Lovina is a tropical island gem located between Bedugul mountain range and the Bali sea. Since we heard so much raving about the beautiful sunset in Bali, we decide to view it exclusively from the fisherman's boat. From Lovina beach, we hired a the fisherman's boat (together with the fisherman because none of us can row a fisherman's boat) and go to the middle of the sea to chase the sunset. We left the beach just at the right moment as the sun is getting nearer to the horizon.



Sunset lasts pretty fast so you better not looking anywhere else when the sun has come down near to the horizon. 

Lately, whenever I had the chance to daydream in the office, I really feel like going back to Bali. The food, the beach, the ocean, the sunset. Oh man. I still remember the day my family and I went to Kuta area. We came too early for sunset so we had a bit of wandering around Kuta area. We had the chance to visit Hard Rock Cafe too. Although we never seem to buy anything from Hard Rock since we don't really collect souvenir or t-shirt from Hard Rock.

Since I am in the deep wanderlust mood, let's start with a picture of the beautiful sunset in Kuta beach. Okay, this makes me wanna go back there again.  #wrongmove

We have heard so much raves about Ayana from our friends stayed there before. As such, we were kinda wondering what kind of a resort Ayana is, and also, how awesome is their famous Rock Bar. So during our last visit to Bali, my family and I took a sneak peek to Ayana Resort.

This is the main lobby area of the resort. We kinda getting good vibes from this place despite the scorching sun.

Dreamland Beach is an alternative for tourists to the overcrowded Kuta Beach. It was promoted as a "hidden paradise" back then when not many people heard about Dreamland Beach before.

Bali has a number of places to watch sunset, especially if you are willing to splurge. If budget is not an issue for you, you may want to consider do sunset watching at one of the bars along Seminyak called Ku De Ta.
