Taipei Eats: Anzu Katsu, Zhongxiao Fuxing
It's another food post. Yum Yum Yum! If you hasn't realized yet, food is one of the best thing exist in Taiwan. Yummy food it is. And when my bestie from Singapore was in town, we decided to have Japanese food for a change. I heard a lot from my friend that while I am in Taiwan, I shall give Japanese food a try because they taste so good and they are way cheaper compared to Japan. So without further ado, let's go to Anzu Katsu (あんず九州杏子日式豬排.)
Since the name of the restaurant has "katsu" in it. I suppose the pork katsu is the right thing to order here.
There were not many people in the restaurant but that's not weird since we came around 3PM on a weekday afternoon.
If you are bored of waiting for the food, it's time to do some grinding. Grind grind grind those sesame seeds.
If the food still has not arrived yet, you can start chewing on the free pickles. Or radish? I don't know but it tastes good.
Finally, my pork katsu is here. Awww...so crispy, tender and yummy at the same time.
You can opt for the brown rice too. Which goes well with the katsu. (Actually white rice will go well with the katsu too. XD)
The pork katsu set comes with a bowl of salad and miso soup. Healthy Japanese dining? =P
The branch that we visited is located at SOGO Zhongxiao Fuxing 10F (go to exit 2 from Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT). The place can be quite crowded during weekend so make sure to come early if you are hungryyyyyy. =P
