Taipei Eats: Mr J French-Italian Restaurant, Taipei City Hall
My friend was visiting me for summer break and since it's her birthday, I brought her to one of Jay Chou's restaurants for a small birthday celebration. Yeah, it kinda gives me a reason to come to since there's no way I visit this kind of place by myself. Weird much, right? #pityantisocialme
I have to say it took me awhile to research how to go to this restaurant because of the location. We took bus no.1 from bus station opposite 7-11 at Taipower Building MRT station area (exit 4) and alighted near Taipei Medical University Hospital at Xinyi District. I'm gonna create another post on how to locate the restaurant from the university since it will be easier to show by pictures. For now, let's go inside! =)
The restaurant is pretty cozy and it's not too crowded at 3pm on a weekday. We ate quite late because my class is only finished around 1plus. Hungryyyy~~~
Since the restaurant is themed around one of Jay Chou's movies called Secret (不能說的秘密/ bùnéng shuō de mìmì), of course you will see the screenshot from the movie all around the place. Fyi, the movie is quite nice to watch. Hehehe.
