7D Korea Golden Rama Tour: Holiday Inn Resort & Suites Alpensia Pyeongchang
As informed by Jenny earlier, we only arrived at our accommodation in Pyeongchang around 9PM-ish, exactly three hours from our dinner venue which is located near to Everland Resort. Holiday Inn Resort & Suites Alpensia Pyeongchang is one of the new hotels which are built in preparation of the upcoming winter olympics next year at Pyeongchang.
Since the hotel is practically brand new, the beds and the pillows are comfortable. It's just that their concept of triple bedroom is not three separate single beds. Instead, they give us one single bed and one double bed. Oh well, I suppose I have to endure Mom's snoring tonight.
The bedroom is equipped with cable TV, safe deposit, hairdryer, and all other basic amenities of usual hotel. The bathroom is clean and new too. Quite comfortable overall.
Since it's only 9PM and we spotted that there is nearby convenience store, we decided to walk for abit to buy some snacks. Despicable Me 3 was just released in town back then and there are many products featuring the cute Minions including beverages.
And even choco stick. The hot chicken flavor is really hot, I'm warning you. I need to gulp water like a camel after consuming one stick. No kidding.
I feel like eating something sweet like ice cream so I bought this ice pop with mojito lime and lemon flavour. Taste pretty refreshing because it's not milky sweet and more like sourish sweet. Nom nom nom.
As expected, it took me few hours before I could sleep peacefully because of Mom's audible snore. Oh well, I did not really have the heart to kick her from her loud sleep so I just endured it until I fell asleep. Before I knew it, it's time to wake up for breakfast. Yumz.
Kimchi is always available for any hotel breakfast in South Korea.
But I don't feel like eating kimchi for breakfast since we are bound to see it later on for lunch or dinner. So here is my breakfast platter for day 4 of 7D Korea Golden Rama Tour. The breakfast spread is quite nice in both flavour and variety. Yummy yummy.
If you are visiting Pyeongchang for ski holiday, you may want to consider staying at Holiday Inn Resort & Suites Pyeongchang. Hopefully the hotel rates is friendly enough for your budget during winter season. Hahaha.
