Taiwan Eats: Warm Meatball Noodle Soup at Jiaoxi Hot Springs, Yilan
The town of Jiaoxi in Yilan is famous for its hot springs. Hot springs are really popular with both the locals and tourists alike because...well, the feeling of soaking your feet (or whole body) in a natural warm bath under the chilling weather is superb!
We visited a bath house in Jiaoxi and we saw that the free area to soak your feet was crowded. So yeah, it must be good, huh?
But first thing first, we need to eat. Tummy comes first in our book. There is a small restaurant inside the bath house.
The restaurant sells noodles and oh boy, looks at it condiments. A lot of sauce so you can rest assured because one of these condiments will surely suit your tastebud, no?
Our bowl of meatball noodle has arrived. It looks simple and yet...slurp...yummy! Perfect comfort food when the weather outside is cold. =)
