Hong Kong Eats: Macau Delicacies at Macau Restaurant, Tsim Sha Tsui
Claimed to bring Macau delicacies to Hong Kong shore, Macau Restaurants is actually quite famous among the Hong Kong locals. It is one of the to-visit-restaurants in Tsim Sha Tsui, apart from the nearby Hong Kong cafe, Tsui Wah. I never know Macau delicacies other than the Portuguese Egg Tarts. So, let's check them out:
1. Roasted Duck
I thought only the Chinese loves roasted duck. Apparently roasted duck is also a popular dish in Macau.

2. Prawn Noodle
Hmm, as you can see, there are more noodles than prawn in the pot. I prefer the Hokkien prawn noodle sold in Singapore's food court.
3. Seafood curry baked rice
Now this one is pretty good but you must make sure to eat this dish while it's hot. After it cools down, it does not taste as good as before.
4. Fried Carrot Cake
Too oily for my liking. Enough said.
5. Portuguese Egg Tarts
I have to admit that the Portuguese egg tarts sold in Macau taste better than these. Although it's probably because we ate it immediately while it's hot. The egg tarts cooled down while we were busy chowing down the other dishes. I guess we had to order these egg tarts last next time. =)
We barely abled to walk because our stomach is too full after eating all the above stuff. Guess, it's time for night time walk around Tsim Sha Tsui area.
