Singapore Eats: Hearty Pizza at Timbre Arts House, Raffles Place

If you are wondering how pretty is the CBD area in Singapore at sunset, this is the answer. And it was taken on a Friday evening, which means the weekend mood has arrived on the area. =P

At time like this, it seems appropriate to send TGIF moment at Timbre @ The Arts House. There is a live-band show at Timbre but usually it will only start around 9PM-ish. You will not wait for too long because in order to get a table (without reservation), you probably need to queue for at least 30 minutes.

Finally we were able to secure a table. We immediately put our order because we were hungry like we haven't eaten for ages. BBQ chicken wings and truffle fries to the rescue.

Timbre is famous for its pizza. The size of the pizza itself is huge and to make it even worthwhile, you can pick two type of pizza at one go. Yum! Timbre's pizza leans on the thin crispy type.

You can't go to Timbre without ordering alcohol (unless you have kidney problem or something). Timbre serves great cocktail. My friend nearly gave the drinks I miss but after seeing (and tasting) my drink, she quickly raised her hand to call the waitress. #toldya

If you want to skip the walk-in queue, you may want to call in advance to reserve a table instead. The fun thing about dining in Timbre is you can order a song from the live band to celebrate whatever moment you are celebrating. I miss those nights when a group of us seems to spend our money watching live band from one pub to another. #nowondernomoney
