Singapore Eats: The Night Talk at Pies and Coffees, Rochester Mall
It's been a while since the last time I hanged out around Rochester at Buona Vista. My last visit was to try out Da Paolo Bistro Bar at Rochester Park. This time round though, we prefer something...cheaper (the price for all those dining venues at Rochester Park is well, exorbitant) so we decided to have some pies at Pies and Coffees.
While we are waiting for our pies to be served, we slowly enjoyed our iced latte and iced lemongrass tea while talking the night away.
My dining companion and I ordered two different pies but well since it's a pie, they come out kinda similar to each other.
The only way to tell the difference between one pie to another is by cutting it open. This one is the Guinness Beef Pie (S$11.20).
The other one is Chicken Cheddar Pie (S$11.20). Both pies are served with mashed potato and side salad.
I really love the pie crust and the fillings. Even though the price is kinda on the steeper side but the pies are tasty. The restaurant at Rochester Mall has a nice ambience too. You can opt to sit al-fresco here.
