10D9N Spring Japan Trip: What is the very first thing to do in Universal Studios Japan?
So you are inside Universal Studios Japan and there are so many attractions to ride, shows to watch, characters to take picture with, and goods to shop. Even though the temptation to ride the nearest attraction to where you are standing is high, there is one thing that you must do first before the rest of them all.
Is it checking out the show timing?
While it is not a bad idea to know the show timing in advance, this is not very important at the moment. Anyway, most of the shows are held in Japanese, if you don't know it yet.
Are you sure it's not about the shopping?
The souvenir store usually opens until quite late and hence, you can visit the store when you have done playing in the theme park. So yeah, nope this is not it.
Uhh..okay, so can I start queuing for the rides now?
While most of the people have started queuing for the rides, this is still not the very first thing that you have to do when you are in Universal Studios Japan (huh, really??). Oh by the way, it was 13th anniversary of Universal Studios Japan when we arrived. It is weird that they put the signboard like somewhere along one of the studio whereby not many people passing by though.
Maybe I should just follow the crowd?
This is half-right if you are following the right crowd, find the way where there is a path which have trees at both side as this will lead you to the right way.
Oh my gawd, it gets totally crowded here, am I at the right place?
Yes, the journey to do the very first thing in Universal Studios Japan may not be the easy one, especially if you come during peak season. But, you have to persevere anyway since you are already here.
Oh..wait..is this the one?
Now you finally get it, right? The first thing to do in Universal Studios Japan is to get the timed slot to enter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It is super duper popular up to the point that the park limits the flux of people entering Hogsmeade per hour. Crazy, eh?

As you can see, you can only enter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Japan if you have this piece of paper. So don't you dare losing it! Hehe.
