Eric Kayser Artisan Boulanger, Plaza Senayan
If you are often sent to Jakarta for business, chances are you would have passed this busy area in Jakarta known as Senayan. Plaza Senayan is one of the mall/ office building located in the busy area of Senayan. I actually seldom visit Plaza Senayan myself because most of the high street fashion shops are located at the mall across it, Senayan City. But well, going out with my brother who is not really a shopper himself, he'd rather go to Plaza Senayan. And that's when we saw Eric Kayser Artisan Boulanger, which if I'm not wrong is originated in Paris, has a branch here.
Eric Kayser Artisan Boulanger specialises in coffees and Western food such as burgers and sandwiches. I don't really drink coffee but here is the beverages menu for your reference. The cafe caramel latte looks nice.
The food menu consists of few items from sandwiches to burgers to mains. We wanted to try food from other restaurants in Plaza Senayan as well, so we decided to just have a light bite here.
A basket full of complimentary breads are served for every table.
We ordered a peperoni pizza bread and it comes in a form which looks neither similar to pizza nor bread. Is this what they call a fusion creation? Taste wise, it's pretty bland and I need to use a lot of chili sauce to consume this. #chilisauceftw
The lychee iced tea thankfully is one of the beverage item which should not go wrong.
I wonder if I should just order their burgers or sandwiches next time I come to Eric Kayser Artisan Boulanger. Hmm, oh well, let's see if there will be a second chance to this place.
