Singapore Cafe: Fika Swedish Cafe, Beach Road

Fika is a concept in Swedish culture with the basic meaning "to have coffee". Now, this is one of the cultures that I don't mind adopting in my lifestyle. Hehe.

Fika offers set lunches and ala carte menu. But since we arrived around 6ish, we just ordered their ala-carte menu.

Ordered a plate of Smoked salmon aglio olio. While I love the smoked salmon, the pasta is so-so.

Since Fika means "to have coffee", so we have to try their coffee. A glass of my usual mocha. The mocha is not bad.

No meal is complete without dessert. A slice of oreo cheesecake, please! It's not bad but I prefer Bakerzin's.

If you don't feel like coming all the way to Beach Road, there's another branch of Fika at Millenia Walk. Do visit their website for more details (link).
