Despite being famous for the foxes, a lot of stores near Fushimi Inari also sell the lucky cat (which is usually displayed at the cashier of some stores or restaurants in Asia). The Japanese name for the lucky cat is Maneki Neko (re: the Beckoning Cat). This is because the cat is always depicted with an upright paw, sometimes still and sometimes moving (if it comes with battery).

We were more interested toward the food instead of the souvenirs though. We moved from one stall to another, trying to find the "one".

So many interesting food being sold here from hot dog to pizza. We should probably get something like inari sushi or kitsune udon, right? Being at Fushimi Inari and all...

But our eyes are glued to the big pieces of octopus. 

And we ended up getting ourselves a mouthful of takoyaki. Yummy!
